We create timeless fashion that lasts season after season. We invest in industry-leading ethical and sustainable manufacturing and give back to our community.
We want to leave the world better than we found it. That’s why we make our products with sustainable UPF50+ fabric that is made with recycled materials.
It's important to us that our pieces are made in a socially responsible and ethical way. Our collections are produced in limited quantities and are designed to last season after season.
We are so humbled by the continued support of our UNE PIECE Community, and believe it is important to give back.
Through initiatives like the International Women’s Day Soirée and Praise You Art Exhibition, we have supported causes dear to our hearts.
UNE PIECE proudly supports The Butterfly Foundation. With the help of our community, we have raised over $13,000 for this wonderful charity since launch. We are also a proud supporter of the UN Women National Committee Australia and Call Time on Melanoma.
Our swimsuits are designed in Australia and made in China. We ensure our suppliers adhere to strict ethical regulations and are gold Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) certified and compliant.
This means that our garment makers are treated fairly, and that our supplier complies with environmental standards regulations, while continuously monitoring operations.
WRAP is an independent, non-profit, objective team of global compliance experts dedicated to promoting safe, lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing standards around the world.
The risk of developing melanoma - Australia’s third most diagnosed Cancer - increases with overexposure to UV radiation from the sun. Melanoma causes 75% of all skin cancer deaths (Cancer Council/ Melanoma Institute AU).
All UNE PIECE swimsuits are created from high quality lycra that has the highest possible protection rating of UPF50+ to block 98% of harmful UV rays. Perfect for long days lounging by the pool, at the beach and being active in the sun.
“Being an Australian brand - where the sun is so harsh - we want to create pieces that women can not only feel empowered in, but totally protected in,” says Founder Carly Brown.
